Jos Crisis

It is my prayer and that of many good Nigerians that God will bring a lasting solution to this crisis. However, I wish to say that the Nigerian Police should first accept their failure to protect the people rather than arguing on the number of casualties. Even if it was one person that was killed in such animalistic way, it is highly to be condemned and it shows the lack of security Nigerian citizens are suffering courtesy of the police and other security agents.

Senate threatens sanctions on Niger

We commend the Senate for condemning the coup in Nigeria. But i have a question, did the Senate equally condemn with much vehemence the unconsititutional extension of power by the ousted president? And what moral authority do we have to condemn them, we should remove the log in our eyes and settle the mystery surrounding our president's health before we can see clearly to remove the splinter in Niger's eyes!

Yar'adu's Return

Haba Nigerians! Are we really practising democracy or a government of secrecy? Not even the Acting President who is supposed to authorise those "War veterans" who safeguarded the President from public or even journalists' view, is aware of how the president came in. This is a joke too far fetched! No one should blame Nigerians or journalists from whatever they say of postulate because the situation calls for that.

FEC's Envoy to Saudi

For God's Sake why another visit to Saudi?
What are the results of the previous visits made by some members of the Senate, House of Representatives and members of the PDP national executives? They Federal Executive Council should just be courageous to do what they ought to do and move the nation forward. While we pray for the quick recovery of the President, the nation cannot be held ransomed for the sake of one person.

Jonathan as Acting President

At last many well meaning Nigerians can now be at rest that we now have a captain to a ship; "Nigeria" that was almost sinking. While i commend the Senate and the House of Representatives for this courageous act, i fault the premise used. How can a purpoted interview with a foreign media be considered as a letter of vacation from the president? We should learn not only to do the right thing but also to achieve it through the right means. Did our constitution mandate a chief executive to write a letter or to grant an interview to empower his deputy act in his stead?
