Designer Karl Lagerfeld recently hit chart-topping singer Adele on weight, calling her "a little too fat".

However Lagerfeld also went on to add that the 23-year-old singer had a "divine voice".

"The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice," the Daily Express quoted him as telling Metro New York.

The legendary fashion designer also gave hot new singer Lana Del Rey a backhanded compliment.

The 78-year-old, who designs exquisite couture while dressed like Dracula's granddad, was very outspoken with his opinions during an interview by the newspaper.

The designer also told the paper he would rather listen to Adele and Florence Welch than Lana Del Rey but felt that she had an arresting look,

"In her photos she is beautiful. Is she a construct with all her implants?" he added. (ANI)
